The Traffic (Westland District) Notice No. 2, 2001

Pursuant to sections 52 (1) (c) and 52 (3) of the Transport Act 1962 and Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Director of Land Transport Safety dated 18 January 2001, I, Robert Albert Gibson, Acting Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. This Notice may be cited as the Traffic (Westland District) Notice No. 2, 2001.
2. The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section
52 of the Transport Act 1962.
3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas, pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
4. The Traffic (Westland County) Notice No. 1, 1974, dated 10 April 1974*, issued pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, is revoked.
First Schedule
Situated within the Westland District at Okuru:
Johnston Crescent.
Situated within the Westland District at Hannahs Clearing:
Haast-Jackson Bay Road from a point 250 metres measured northerly generally along Haast-Jackson Bay Road from the northern intersection with Muturimu Road to a point 70 metres measured southerly generally along Haast-Jackson Bay Road from the southern intersection with Muturimu Road.
Muturimu Road.
Situated within the Westland District at Neils Beach:
Neils Beach Road.
Second Schedule
Situated within the Westland District at Haast Junction:
Haast-Jackson Bay Road from State Highway No. 6 to a point 450 metres measured westerly generally along Haast-Jackson Bay Road from State Highway No. 6.
