Summary of Exemptions Granted by the Director of Civil Aviation

Pursuant to section 37 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notification is hereby given of a summary of exemptions, set out in the Schedule hereto, granted by the Director of Civil Aviation.

To: S. A. Tantrum.
With respect to: Fokker Triplane replica aircraft, registration ZK-FOK.
From the requirement in: Civil Aviation Rule 91.529 (a) that each aircraft shall have an automatic ELT installed, provided that the pilot-in-command carries a personal
ELT device.
This exemption shall remain in effect unless withdrawn in writing by the director.

To: Peter Robert Jackson.
With respect to: Sopwith Camel aircraft, registration
ZK-JMU.
From the requirement in: Civil Aviation Rule 47.101 (a) that the aircraft bear a registration mark in the manner and in accordance with the specifications prescribed in 47.109 to 47.117 inclusive:
This exemption shall remain in effect unless withdrawn in writing by the director.

With respect to: Sopwith Camel replica aircraft, registration ZK-JMU.
From the requirement in: Civil Aviation Rule 91.529 (a) that each aircraft shall have an automatic ELT installed, provided that the pilot-in-command carries a personal ELT device.
This exemption shall remain in effect unless withdrawn in writing by the director.

with full provisos is published in the Civil Aviation Rules Register Information Leaflet (CARRIL).
