The Queen has accepted the resignation of Dr Morgan Francis Fahey, of Christchurch, from the Order of the British Empire and directed that his appointment to be an Officer of the Civil Division of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, dated 11 June 1977 (New Zealand Gazette No. 66, 16 June 1977, page 1660), shall be cancelled and annulled and that his name shall be erased from the Register of the said Order.
