Insurance Companies (Ratings and Inspections) Act 1994
Approved rating agency Standard and Poor's has revised AMP Life Limited (Australia and New Zealand)'s insurer financial strength rating from AA+ CreditWatch Negative to AA, effective from the 27th day of January 2000. "AA" denotes "very strong financial security characteristics".
