Notice of Meeting of Creditors
Pursuant to section 258 (2) (e) of the Companies Act 1993
We, David Bryden Davidson and Richard Dale Agnew, chartered accountants of Auckland, were appointed jointly and severally as interim liquidators of the Friendly Society by the High Court at Auckland on the 14th day of April 2000.
A meeting of creditors will be held at 7.00 p.m. on Monday, the 15th day of May 2000 at the upstairs cafeteria, Mt Roskill Stagecoach Depot, corner of May and Stoddard Roads, Mount Roskill, Auckland.
The purpose of the meeting is to:
(a) inform creditors of the progress of the interim liquidation;
(b) ascertain the views of creditors on any matter arising from the interim liquidation; and
(c) discuss any other matters regarding the interim liquidation (including how to register your claim against the Friendly Society, with the interim liquidators).
Creditors may be present in person or by proxy.
Proxies, which must be received no later than 5.00 p.m. on Thursday, the 11th day of May 2000, should be sent to: Auckland Regional Staff Friendly Society (in interim liquidation), care of PricewaterhouseCoopers, 66 Wyndham Street (Private Bag 92-612), Auckland. Attention: Vivien Madsen-Ries.
