Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, East Coast/Hawke's Bay Conservancy, notifies that on the 23rd day of November 1999, the Opotiki District Council resolved that the area of land vested in the council and described in the Schedule shall be a local purpose (esplanade) reserve.

1138 square metres, being Lot 24 on Deposited Plan 5779, being all land in certificate of title 4A/523.
