Ecological Area
Under section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation declares that the land described in the Schedule is held for conservation purposes with the effect that, under section 61 (7) of that Act, it shall be deemed to have been declared to be held for the purposes of an ecological area to protect the values for which it was originally held.

Flagstaff Ecological Area
1580 hectares, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. Plan 12383, situated in Blocks XI, XII, XV and XVI, Ahaura Survey District.
