Pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, and a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager of the Department of Conservation, Wellington, declares that the conservation area described in the Schedule shall be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977 and classified as a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the latter Act, and further, under the Reserves Act, vests the reserve in the Wellington City Council in trust for recreation purposes.
