Pursuant to section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation declares that the land described in the Schedule is held for conservation purposes and, under section 8 (1A) of the Act, the Minister of Conservation further declares that the conservation area be set apart as a reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as
an historic reserve, subject to the provisions of the latter Act.
