(Community) Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Waikato Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby appoints the Waipa District Council to control and manage the local purpose (community) reserve described in the Schedule below, subject to the special condition that should council appoint a committee to manage the reserve, such committee shall include representatives from the Te Kauhanganui o Waikato and the Purekireki Marae committee.

South Auckland District-Waipa District
1655 square hectares, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. 48235, situated in Block IV, Pirongia Survey District. All New Zealand Gazette 1975, page 2134 (Document H. 055381).
