Pursuant to sections 20 and 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Kerry John Twydle, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into:
(a) The land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for a recreation reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and shall vest in the Christchurch
City Council on the date of publication hereof in the
New Zealand Gazette.
(b) A water drainage easement in gross as defined in the Seventh Schedule of the Land Transfer Act 1952, is acquired over the land described in the Second Schedule of this notice and is vested in the Christchurch City Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
