On 19 June 2000 at the District Court at Rotorua,
Stephen Robert Howat, of 21 Kiwi Street, Rotorua,
was convicted and sentenced to one hundred and fifty
(150) hours community service and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver's licence for an indefinite period from 19 June 2000, following his conviction on 19 June 2000, for an offence of driving
with excess breath alcohol (1) and, in addition to the
above-mentioned penalty, Judge J. J. Weir has ordered that a
1999 Honda Civic motor vehicle, registration
No. XX 7732
owned by the above-mentioned defendant, be forfeited to Her Majesty, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.
The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Rotorua, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Rotorua, by 5.00 p.m. on 17 July 2000.
