Pursuant to section 4 (2A) of the District Courts Act 1947, as inserted by section 2 (2) of the District Court Amendment Act 1980, His Excellency the Governor-General has
been pleased to appoint, as from the commencement of
30 October 2000, the City of Manukau as a place in which courts may be held for the exercise of civil and criminal jurisdiction in respect of indictable offences under Part IIA of the District Courts Act 1947.
