On the 14th day of January 2000 at the District Court at Rotorua, Steven Graham Makoare of 21 Wallace Crescent, Rotorua, was convicted and sentenced to periodic detention for 4 months and disqualified from or obtaining a motor driver's licence for 12 months from 14th January 2000, following his conviction on 14th January 2000 for an offence of driving with excess breath alcohol (1), and in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge P. W. Cooper has ordered that a
Toyota Grande motor vehicle, registration No. OO 1488
owned by the above-mentioned defendant, shall be forfeited to Her Majesty, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.
The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Rotorua, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Rotorua, by 4.00 p.m. on the 14th day of January 2000.
