Pursuant to regulation 30 (7) of the Electricity (Information Disclosure) Regulations 1999, and acting under delegated authority from the chief executive of the Ministry of Economic Development, I exempt Buller Electricity Limited and Eastland Energy Limited from the requirement in regulations 6 (1), 15 (1), 16 (1), 21 (1) and 22 (1) to
publish and publicly disclose information relating to the 1999/2000 financial year.
These exemptions expire on 30 September 2000.
On or before that date, Buller Electricity Limited and Eastland Energy Limited must publish and publicly disclose the relevant information as if this exemption had not been given.
