In accordance with section 156 of the Education Act 1989, the Minister of Education gives the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. This notice may be cited as Te Kura Kaupapa
Motuhake o Tawhiuau constitution notice.
2. Constitution of the Board of Trustees of Te Kura Kaupapa Motuhake o Tawhiuau
The board of trustees of Te Kura Kaupapa
Motuhake o Tawhiuau shall consist of:
(a) Four people appointed by Te Ope Take Matauranga
o Ngati Manawa;
(b) Five parent representatives;
(c) The principal of the school;
(d) One staff representative;
(e) One student representative.
3. The first board of the kura constituted under this
notice will take office following the triennial board of trustee elections to be held in 2001, at which time this
notice replaces paragraph 5 of notice No. 9153 from
the New Zealand Gazette of 9 December 1999, No. 189,
page 4472.
