On the 7th day of April 2000 at the District Court at Rotorua, James Hemi Renata of 3 Rawhiti Flats, Miller Street, Rotorua, was convicted and sentenced to 9 months supervision and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver's licence for 2 years from 7 April 2000, and indefinitely, under section 65 of the Land Transport Act, following his conviction on 18 January 2000, for an offence of driving with excess breath alcohol (1) and, in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge MacDonald has ordered that a
Vauxhall EA motor vehicle, registration No. EA 6823
owned by the above-mentioned defendant, James Hemi Renata, be forfeited to Her Majesty, pursuant to section
84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.
The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Rotorua or a Bailiff of the District Court, Rotorua, by 4.00 p.m. on the 7th day of April 2000.
