Pursuant to section 119 of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, notice is hereby given that on the 23rd day of December 1997 the New Zealand Law Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal ordered as follows:
1. That the name of Bruce Miles McRobbie Carran be struck off the Roll of Barristers and Solicitors of the High Court of New Zealand.
2. That Bruce Miles McRobbie Carran pay to the New Zealand Law Society the sum of $44,448.00 in respect of the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by the Tribunal.
3. That Bruce Miles McRobbie Carran pay to the Wellington Law Society the sum of $190,000.00 in respect of the costs and expenses of and incidental to the inquiry by the Complaints Committee.
