The following notice is given, pursuant to section 37 of the Public Trust Office Act 1957, and sections 28 and 41 of the State Sector Act 1988.
N o t i c e
1. Title and commencement-This notice may be cited as the Public Trust Office (Investment Agencies in the Common Fund) Notice 2000 Amendment No. 1 and shall take effect from and including the 23rd day of March 2000.
2. Amendments to notice-The Public Trust (Investment Agencies in the Common Fund) Notice 2000, New Zealand Gazette, page 424, is hereby amended:
(a) by omitting from paragraph 2 (a) the expression
"3.60 percent" and substituting the expression
"3.75 percent";
(b) by omitting from paragraph 2 (b) (i) the expression "5.40 percent" and substituting the expression
"5.70 percent";
(c) by omitting from paragraph 2 (b) (ii) the expression "5.50 percent" and substituting the expression
"5.75 percent";
(d) by omitting from paragraph 2 (b) (iii) the expression "5.50 percent" and substituting the expression
"5.85 percent";
(e) by omitting from paragraph 2 (c) (i) the expression "5.80 percent" and substituting the expression
"6.00 percent";
(f) by omitting from paragraph 2 (c) (ii) the expression "6.00 percent" and substituting the expression
"6.10 percent";
(g) by omitting from paragraph 2 (c) (iii) the expression "6.00 percent" and substituting the expression
"6.20 percent";
(h) by omitting from paragraph 2 (d) (i) the expression "6.10 percent" and substituting the expression
"6.20 percent";
(i) by omitting from paragraph 2 (d) (ii) the expression "6.20 percent" and substituting the expression
"6.30 percent";
(j) by omitting from paragraph 2 (d) (iii) the expression "6.20 percent" and substituting the expression
"6.40 percent";
(k) by omitting from paragraph 2 (e) (ii) the expression "6.70 percent" and substituting the expression
"6.60 percent";
(l) by omitting from paragraph 2 (e) (iii) the expression "6.70 percent" and substituting the expression
"6.65 percent".
3. Transitional provisions-(1) Paragraph 2 of this notice shall not apply to any interest payable in respect of the period that ends with the 22nd day of March 2000.
(2) Paragraph 2 (a) of this notice shall apply-
(i) to agencies that commenced prior to the 23rd day of March 2000, as from that date;
(ii) to agencies commenced on or after the 23rd day of March 2000; as from the date of their commencement.
(3) Paragraphs 2 (b) to 2 (l) inclusive of this notice-
(i) shall not apply to agencies that commenced prior to the 23rd day of March 2000, but
(ii) shall apply to agencies that commenced on or after the 23rd day of March 2000, as from the date of their commencement.
