Notice of Disciplinary Action Taken by the Electrical Workers Registration Board

The Registrar of the Electrical Workers Registration Board ("the board"), having been directed by the board, in accordance with section 139 of the Electricity Act 1992, gives notice of the following registered electrical workers having been disciplined by the board under Part XI of the Electricity Act 1992, and the effect of the decision or order of the board:
Sean Colin Marr of Gore had his electrician's registration restricted for a period of 2 years from
26 January 2000. The restriction is that he can not test or supervise prescribed electrical work carried out by any other person. The restriction is to apply concurrently with restrictions already imposed on Mr Marr. Mr Marr was ordered to pay costs of seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750). The costs to be paid by 30 January 2000.
Jane Elizabeth Anderson of Lower Hutt was censured and ordered to pay costs of four hundred dollars ($400). The costs to be paid by 31 December 1999.
Matthew O'Donoghue of Christchurch had his electrician's registration restricted until such time as he passes the electrician's level regulations examination. Mr O'Donoghue was fined two thousand dollars ($2,000) and ordered to pay costs of seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750). The fine and costs to be paid by 30 January 2000.
