Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment hereby gives the following notice:
N o t i c e
1. Title and Commencement-(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Approval of Carter Holt Harvey Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 2000.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 7th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. Approval as Requiring Authority-Carter Holt Harvey Limited is hereby approved as a requiring authority, under section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, for the construction, operation, maintenance and improvement of a pipeline (and ancillary services) to convey treated waste and sewage from the company's waste water treatment plant at Spencer Avenue, Kawerau to its forest on Lots 330 and 331, Parish of Matata (C.T. 46D/801 and C.T. 48A/10) on State Highway No. 30 for the purposes of land-based disposal.
