On the 28th day of January 2000 at the District Court at Rotorua, Sonia Katarina Karawana of 273A Te Ngae Road, Rotorua, was convicted and sentenced to 4 months imprisonment and 9 months supervision and disqualified from holding or obtaining a motor driver's licence indefinitely, following her conviction on 28 January 2000 for an offence of excess breath alcohol having already been convicted on 2 previous occasions, and in addition to the above-mentioned penalty, Judge R. L. B. Spear has ordered that a
Honda Civic motor vehicle, registration No. JY 9255
owned by the above-mentioned defendant, shall be forfeited to Her Majesty, pursuant to section 84 (4) of the Criminal Justice Act 1985.
The vehicle is to be surrendered to the Registrar, District Court, Rotorua, or a Bailiff of the District Court, Rotorua, by 4.00 p.m. on the 28th day of January 2000.
