Change of Rating
Pursuant to the Insurance Companies (Ratings and Inspections) Act 1994
State Insurance Limited's insurer financial strength rating was lowered by Standard and Poor's (Australia) Pty Limited to "AA-" from "AA" on the 31st day of October 2000.
The rating reflects Standard and Poor's (Australia) Pty Limited's view "of the ongoing stand alone financial strength of State Insurance Limited given its prospective separation from the C.G.N.U. Group".
