Regulations 1990
Pursuant to Regulation 90 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to Regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, I, John Andrew Justice, Acting Manager Safer Vehicles Policy, hereby exempt the motor vehicle specified in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirements specified in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.

Conditions
(i) The vehicle may not be operated on the road during the hours of darkness;
(ii) The vehicle may only operate on a road when accompanied by front and rear pilot vehicles;
(iii) The vehicle can only be driven on roads with a speed limit of 50km/h or less;
(iv) These exemptions remain valid only while the vehicle is being operated in a fundraising event in conjunction with MTD Products NZ Limited, Radioworks and Victim Support;
(v) This exemption notice must be carried on the vehicle at all times and be produced on request for enforcement officers;
(vi) These exemptions expire on 5 December 2000;
(vii) The vehicle must be maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
