Pursuant to section 4 (4) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. Title and commencement-(1) This notice may be cited as the Wellington Regional Council Rural Fire District Abolition Notice 2000.
(2) This notice will come into force on 1 October 2000.
2. Abolition of the Wellington Regional Council Rural Fire District-The Wellington Regional Council Rural Fire District is hereby abolished.
3. Revocation of Rural Fire District Notice-The Hutt Rural Fire District Order 1948* is hereby revoked.
