Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. This Notice may be cited as the Traffic (Timaru District) Notice 2000.
2. The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities at all times pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962.
3. The following notice is revoked:

SITUATED within Timaru District at Winchester:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from a point 40 metres measured northerly generally along the said State Highway from Erskine Street to a point 210 metres measured southerly generally along the said State Highway from Rise Road.

Browning Street.
Erskine Street.
Geraldine-Winchester Highway: from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 100 metres measured north-westerly generally along the Geraldine-Winchester Highway from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff).
Lennox Street.
Maddren Street.
Richard Street: from a point 80 metres measured easterly generally along the said street from Ronald Street to the western end of Richard Street.
Rise Road: from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 50 metres measured south-easterly generally along Rise Road from Maddren Street.
