The Traffic (Westland District) Notice No. 2, 2000

Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice:
N o t i c e
(1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Westland District) Notice No. 2, 2000.
(2) The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities at all times for the purpose of section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962.
(3) The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas, pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
(4) The following notice is revoked:

First Schedule
Situated within Westland District at Fox Glacier:
No. 6 State Highway (Blenhein-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth): from a point 460 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from Cook Flat Road to a point 260 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Cook Flat Road.
Sullivan Road.
Second Schedule
Situated within Westland District at Fox Glacier:
Cook Flat Road from the No 6 State highway (Blenhein-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) to a point 880 metres measured westerly generally along the said road from the said State highway.
Pekanga Drive.
