Bylaw 2000
Pursuant to section 70 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, Transit New Zealand hereby makes the following bylaw:

1. This bylaw may be cited as the Transit New Zealand Bylaw 2000/1 and shall come into force on the day after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. The bylaws specified in the Schedule to this notice are hereby revoked.

This bylaw was made by resolution at a meeting of
Transit New Zealand held at Wellington on the 5th day
of April 2000.

Explanatory Note:
This note is not part of the bylaw, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This bylaw:
(1) Revokes Transit New Zealand Bylaws that have application to sections of roads which, in part, are no longer appropriate for various reasons. Those parts of the bylaws that are still relevant will be retained in new bylaws to take effect from the date that this bylaw takes effect; and
(2) Revokes Transit New Zealand Bylaws, relating to stopping and parking and speed restrictions on State highways, that have been updated and consolidated interregional bylaws to take effect from the date that this bylaw takes effect.
