In terms of section 54 (3) of the Reserve Bank of
New Zealand Act 1989, I hereby notify my reappointment of
Mrs Alison Mae Paterson
as a non-executive director of the Reserve Bank of
New Zealand for a 5 year term with effect on and from
1 February 2000.
