Declaration That Land is a Reserve Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager for the Northland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Whangarei District Council on the 18th day of August 1999: ``That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Whangarei District Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a local purpose (esplanade) reserve within the meaning of the said Act.'' Schedule North Auckland Land District Whangarei District 10.9367 hectares, more or less, being Lot 4, D.P. 136530 excepting thereout all limestone, granite, gold, silver, petroleum, fire clay and other oils and other minerals of whatever kind of nature soever.
