Declaring Surplus Land Formerly Held as Part of a School Site for Ardgowan Primary School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen, Subject to the Provisions of the Land Act 1948 MICHAEL HARDIE BOYS, Governor-General A PROCLAMATION Pursuant to section 5 (6) (a) of the Education Lands Act 1949, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaims and declares that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being land held as part of a public school site in Ardgowan, Oamaru shall, as and from the 1st day of March 1999, be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, subject to the provisions of the Land Act 1948, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens or easements affecting the same at that date.
