Notice of Variation of a Scheduled International Air Service Licence Pursuant to section 87j (6) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, section 41 of the State Sector Act 1988 and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 28 August 1996, I give notice that, having received applications from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister of Transport has varied the Schedule International Air Service Licence held by that airline in order to incorporate: (i) with effect from 20 September 1999, a new route, ``Points in New Zealand to a point or points in Switzerland, optionally via any point and beyond to any point'', (without traffic rights at Bangkok, Hong Kong and Singapore), with capacity of up to three return passenger services per week with any aircraft type; (ii) with effect from 4 October 1999, a new route, ``Points in New Zealand to a point or points in Mexico, optionally via any point or points and beyond to any point or points'', with such level of strictly New ZealandMexico capacity as is filed with and acknowledged by the Secretary for Transport; and (iii) with effect from 4 October 1999 a capacity increase to 1600 return seats per week in respect of Hong Kong.
