Appointment to the Rules Committee Pursuant to the power vested in the Chief Justice of New Zealand by section 51b of the Judicature Act 1908, the Chief Justice of New Zealand has appointed Master Geoffrey John Venning to be a member of the Rules Committee for the special purpose of advising the committee of matters of procedure from the perspective of a Master of the High Court, to hold office during the pleasure of the Chief Justice but in any event for a term no longer than 3 years from the 1st day of January 2000.
