Amendment to Constitution of Council of the University of Waikato Pursuant to section 170 of the Education Act 1989, the Minister for Tertiary Education hereby gives the following notice: N o t i c e 1. This notice may be cited as the Constitution of the University of Waikato Amendment Notice 1999, and shall be read together with, and deemed part of, the University of Waikato Notice 1990 (hereinafter called the ``principal notice''*). 2. This notice shall come into force on the day after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette. 3. The principal notice is hereby amended by omitting from clause 3, paragraph (e), and substituting the following paragraph: ``(e) One person who is or has been a student of the University of Waikato elected by the students of the University of Waikato.''
