Appointment to the Rules Committee Pursuant to the power vested in the Chief Justice of New Zealand by subsection (1) of section 51b of the Judicature Act 1908, the Chief Justice of New Zealand has appointed Judge Jeremy Paul Doogue of Auckland to be a member of the Rules Committee for a term of 3 years commencing on the 1st day of September 1999.
