Appointment of Chairman of the Higher Salaries Commission Pursuant to sections 5 and 6 of the Higher Salaries Commission Act 1977, His Excellency the Governor-General, has appointed Hutton David Peacock of Wellington to be chairman of the Higher Salaries Commission for the period commencing on the 10th day of September 1999 and ceasing on the 9th day of September 2002.
