Notice of Disciplinary Action Taken by the Electrical Workers Registration Board The Registrar of the Electrical Workers Registration Board (``the board''), having been directed by the board, and in accordance with section 139 of the Electricity Act 1992, gives notice of the following registered electrical workers having been disciplined by the board under Part XI of the Electricity Act 1992, and the effect of the decision or order of the board: Andrew Craig Burt of Papakura, was fined $300 and ordered to pay costs of $400. The fine and costs to be paid by 23 December 1998. Peter William Cook of Papatoetoe, was sent a letter of censure and ordered to pay costs of $250. The costs to be paid by 24 November 1998. Terry Emorfopoulos of Lower Hutt, was fined $250 and ordered to pay costs of $450. The fine and costs to be paid by 30 November 1998. Richard Neil Jones of Hastings, was fined $1,000 and ordered to pay costs of $750. The fine and costs to be paid by 30 November 1998. Sean Colin Marr of Gore, was fined $3,500 and ordered to pay costs of $1,500. The fine and costs to be paid by 14 August 1998. Sean Colin Marr of Gore, had his electrician's registration restricted for a period of 3 years from 11 February 1999. This restriction to run concurrently with the other restrictions placed on him. The restriction is that he cannot test or certify prescribed electrical work carried out by another person. He was fined $1,000 and ordered to pay costs of $750. Mark Hugh Robson of Whangaparoa, was fined $450 and ordered to pay costs of $450. The fine and costs to be paid by 1 February 1999. Clifford Norman Sharp of Warkworth, had his electrician's registration restricted for 2 years from 27 November 1998. The restriction is that all prescribed electrical work carried out on existing domestic electrical installations which requires to be certified under regulation 39, must be certified by another person who is authorised to certify such work. He was ordered to pay costs of $400. The costs to be paid by 23 December 1998. Stephen Mathew Shaw of New Lynn, Auckland, had his electrician's registration suspended for a period of 4 months from 23 February 1999, was fined $1,000 and ordered to pay costs of $850.
