Amendment to Constitution of Council of Nelson Polytechnic Pursuant to section 170 of the Education Act 1989, the Minister for Tertiary Education hereby gives the following notice. N o t i c e 1. This notice may be cited as the Constitution of the Nelson Polytechnic Amendment Notice 1999, which shall be read together with and deemed part of the Nelson Polytechnic Notice 1990 (``the principal notice'')*. 2. This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette. 3. The principal notice is hereby amended by omitting clause 5 and substituting the following clause: ``5. Subject to section 173, the maximum term for any member, other than the Chief Executive Officer, shall be three consecutive 4-year terms.'' Dated at Wellington this 21st day of March 1999.
