Delay in the Commencement of Amendment No. 11 to the New Zealand Food Standard 1996 Section 11h (4) of the Food Act 1981 The Amendment No. 11 to the New Zealand Food Standard 1996 was issued by the Minister of Health on 8 December 1998 and was to come into force on 17 February 1999. On the 16 February 1999 the Minister of Health issued a notice to suspend commencement of Amendment No. 11 until 17 April 1999. Amendment No. 11 introduces mandatory warning statements for foods, including dietary supplements, containing royal jelly, bee pollen or propolis. The New Zealand Food Standard 1996 and amendments are available for inspection at the Ministry of Health, 133 Molesworth Street, Wellington. Copies of New Zealand Food Standard 1996 and amendments are available for purchase from any Bennetts Government Bookshop.
