Fees Payable to the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand Pursuant to section 56 (a) of the Pharmacy Act 1970, the Council gives notice that the following fees (all inclusive of G.S.T.) are payable for the financial year commencing on 1 January 2000. A. Registration Fees (Pharmacist) On application for registration under this Act $140.00 On application for reinstatement to the Register $140.00 B. Annual Practising/Registration Fees (Pharmacist) 1. A pharmacist who is the owner or part owner of a pharmacy or a pharmacist under the age of 65 who is substantially engaged in employment for which membership of the Society is an appropriate qualification $480.00 2. A pharmacist (other than the owner or part owner of a pharmacy) who intends to work less than 600 hours per annum $250.00 3. A pharmacist (other than the owner or part owner of a pharmacy) aged 65 or over on 1 January 2000 $165.00 4. A pharmacist who is a member, who is resident overseas on 1 January 2000 $165.00 5. A pharmacist (other than the owner or part owner of a pharmacy) aged 70 or over on 1 January 2000 $25.00 6. A pharmacist (other than the owner or part owner of a pharmacy) aged 80 or over on 1 January 2000 NIL C. Inspection of Register To inspect the Register on the premises of the Society or to obtain a copy of an entry in the Register $22.50 To obtain a printed copy of the Register of Pharmacists or the Register of Pharmacies $40.00 To obtain an electronic copy of the Register of Pharmacists or the Register of Pharmacies $160.00 D. Alterations to Register There shall be no charge for notifying alterations to pharmacist name or address in the Register E. Duplicate or Replacement Certificate of Registration $54.00 F. Issue of Certificate of Identity for Reciprocal Recognition $40.00 G. Registration of Pharmacies The annual fee for the registration of pharmacies payable at time of application for registration of a pharmacy $563.75 H. Annual Registration of Pharmacy Payable as at 1st July each year $563.75 I. Quality Standards Audit Fee Payable at the time of pharmacy audit $225.00 J. Intern Fee For post graduate training and assessment preregistration $3,500.00 K. Application for registration by a pharmacist with qualifications obtained in a country other than New Zealand, Australia or United Kingdom Stage 1 Initial application $675.00 Stage 2 Assessment of documentation $1,250.00 [sp'Stage 2'] Assessment Interview $1,350.00 [sp'Stage 2'] Law and Ethics Examination $545.00 [sp'Stage 2'] Law and Ethics Workshop (optional) $750.00 [sp'Stage 2'] Additional assessment interview if required following extended work experience $545.00 By order of the Council.
