Notice of Approval of a Scheme Under Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 The High Court at Wellington on Monday, the 8th day of February 1999, approved a scheme to vary the terms of the Ernest Marsden Trust. Under the Will Trusts the trust fund was to be applied by the Royal Society of New Zealand or failing the society by Victoria University of Wellington in and towards promoting research into natural radio activity and fall-out particularly in relation to human health in New Zealand. Under the scheme approved by the High Court the public trustee shall pay the trust fund to Victoria University of Wellington for one or more research scholarships in any area of experimental physics having the potential to benefit the health and well being of New Zealanders.
