The Traffic (Christchurch City, and Selwyn District at Templeton) Notice 1999 Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice: N o t i c e (1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Christchurch City, and Selwyn District at Templeton) Notice 1999. (2) Those localities and roads shown within markings identified in the legend of and appearing on the plans numbered: TT99/56/1of 4 entitled ``Gazetted Speed Restrictions for roads in Christchurch City and roads at Templeton in Selwyn District''; and TT99/56/2 of 4 entitled ``Gazetted Speed Restrictions for roads in Christchurch City and roads at Templeton in Selwyn District''; and TT99/56/3 of 4 entitled ``Gazetted Speed Restrictions for roads in Christchurch City and roads at Templeton in Selwyn District''; and TT99/56/4 of 4 entitled ``Gazetted Speed Restrictions for roads in Christchurch City and roads at Templeton in Selwyn District'', held by the Head Office of the Land Transport Safety Authority are declared to closely populated localities at all times, pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 at all times pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962; except where declared: (a) as 70 kilometres an hour speed-limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976; or (b) as excluded from the limitations as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, as may be ascertained from the legend. The plans and legends are hereby incorporated into this notice. (3) The Traffic (Christchurch City, and Selwyn District at Templeton) Notice 1997* is revoked.
