Civil Aviation Rules The Minister of Transport intends to make ordinary rules in the following CAR Parts Part 71 Designation of Airspace; Part 73 Special Use Airspace; and consequential amendments to Part 1 Definitions and Abbreviations Part 77 Objects and Activities Affecting Navigable Airspace Part 91 General Operating and Flight Rules Part 101 Gyrogliders and Parasails; and Unmanned Balloons, Kites, Rockets, and Model Aircraft - Operating Rules Part 105 Parachuting Operating Rules pursuant to section 34 (1) (a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990. The submission close-off date for the proposed rules is 30 October 1999. Copies of the Notice of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM 99-5) are available for viewing at Aviation House, 1 Market Grove, Lower Hutt, and on application to the Docket Clerk, P.O.
