Summary of Exemptions granted by the Director of Civil Aviation Pursuant to section 37 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notification is hereby given of a summary of an exemption, set out in the Schedule hereto, granted by the Director of Civil Aviation. Schedule Docket 99/EXE/63 CAR 91.311 (a) (2) The director granted an exemption to Anthony Howard Monk of Auckland, being the pilot-in-command of an aircraft operating under VFR, from the requirement in 91.311 (a) (2) that no pilot-in-command of an aircraft shall operate an aircraft under VFR over any congested area of a city, town, or settlement, or over any open assembly of persons, at a height of less than 1000 feet above the highest obstacle within a horizontal radius from the aircraft of 2000 feet. The exemption is granted only in respect of one operation to be conducted in helicopter ZK-HST for the purpose of filming in Shortland Street, Auckland City on either Saturday, 6 March 1999 or Sunday, 7 March 1999, between the hours of 0700 and 0800.
