The Traffic (Hurunui District) Notice 1999 Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, John Paul Edgar, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice: N o t i c e (1) This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hurunui District) Notice 1999. (2) The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities at all times pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962. (3) The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometre an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976. (4) Those parts of The Traffic (Amuri County) Notice No. 1, 1984* and The Traffic (Hurunui County) Notice No. 2, 1981** that relates to the roads in the Schedules below are revoked. First Schedule SITUATED within Hurunui District at Hawarden: Allandale Road: from Horsley Down Road to a point 320 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said road from Tenterden Street. Gladstone Street. High Street: from Horsley Down Road to a point 50 metres measured easterly, generally, along High Street from Wellington Street. Horsley Down Road: from High Street to a point 160 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said road from Gladstone Street. Jervois Street. Moore Street. Nelson Street. O'Carrols Road: from High Street to a point 220 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said road from Seymour Street. Pratt Street. Quinlivan Street. Seymour Street. Tenterden Street. Wellington Street. Second Schedule SITUATED within Hurunui District at Rotherham: No. 70 State Highway (Waiau-Culverden): from the southern side, generally, of Davison Road to a point 450 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Heaton Street. Heaton Street: from the No. 70 State Highway (Waiau-Culverden) to a point 50 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said street from Wilkin Street. Wilkin Street: from a point 150 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said street from Heaton Street to a point 230 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said street from Heaton Street.
