Black & Decker (New Zealand) Limited Public Notice of Amalgamation Pursuant to Section 221 (4) (b) of the Companies Act 1993 The board of directors of Black & Decker (New Zealand) Limited, gives notice that on the 1st day of October 1998, or as soon as practicable thereafter, the company will amalgamate with B.B. Chemical Co NZ Limited under Part XIII of the Companies Act 1993. Copies of the amalgamation proposal are available for inspection by any shareholder or creditor of any of the amalgamating companies or any person to whom any of the amalgamating companies is under an obligation, at the registered office of the amalgamating companies and at such other places as may be specified during normal business hours. A shareholder or creditor of any of the amalgamating companies, or any person to whom any of the amalgamating companies is under an obligation, is entitled to be supplied free of charge with a copy of the amalgamation proposal upon request to any of the amalgamating companies.
