Amending a Notice Acquiring Easements for Irrigation Purposes (Maungatapere Irrigation Scheme) Over Land in the Whangarei District Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, R. A. Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, hereby amends the notice dated 18 August 1998, acquiring easements for irrigation purposes published in the New Zealand Gazette of 27 August 1998, No. 125 at page 3043 by deleting the following from the body of the notice: ``are acquired for irrigation purposes for a term expiring on the 31st day of December 2050'' and substituting the following: ``are acquired in perpetuity''.
