Amending a Notice Acquiring Land and Easements for Irrigation Purposes (Maungatapere Irrigation Scheme) Over Land in the Whangarei District Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Kerry John Twydle, Land Information New Zealand, hereby amends the following notices, acquiring easements for irrigation purposes. Dated 17 August 1998, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 27 August 1998, No. 125, at page 3042. Dated 16 September 1998, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 24 September 1998, No. 157, at page 3786. By deleting the following from the body of the notices referred to above: ``. . . are acquired for irrigation purposes for a term expiring on the 31st day of December 2050 . . .'' and substituting the following: ``. . . are acquired in perpetuity . . .''
