Amending a Notice Acquiring Land and Easements for Irrigation Purposes (Maungatapere Irrigation Scheme) Over Land in the Whangarei District Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, hereby amends the following notices, acquiring land and easements for irrigation purposes. Dated 24 August 1998 published in the New Zealand Gazette of 3 September 1998, No. 132 at page 3228. Dated 4 September 1998 published in the New Zealand Gazette of 10 September 1998, No. 140 at page 3421. By deleting the following from the body of the notices referred to above: ``... are acquired for irrigation purposes for a term expiring on the 31st day of December 2050...'' and substituting the following: ``... are acquired in perpetuity...''
