Appointment of Temporary Judge of the High Court Pursuant to section 11 of the Judicature Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, has been pleased to appoint Edward Taihakurei Junior Durie, Chief Judge of the Maori Land Court a temporary Judge of the High Court for a term of 12 months commencing on the 23rd day of October 1998.
